Peace Summit for Ukraine in Burgenstock, Switzerland

These days, on 15-16 June 2024, Switzerland is hosting the Peace Summit for Ukraine on the Burgenstock. This summit brings together 60 heads of state and a total of 100 government representatives from around the world. The aim of the event is to find ways to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

The main topics of the summit were:
Nuclear safety:
-Discussion of measures to ensure the safety of nuclear facilities and prevent nuclear disasters.
Freedom of navigation and food security:
-Ensuring safe navigation and access to food, which is critical for many states.
Humanitarian aspects and sustainable peace:
-Addressing humanitarian issues and developing strategies to achieve sustainable peace, including long-term support for those affected.
