The annual Reflection Day in the SIMagination Challenge course, taught by Professor Dr. Omid Aschari, has become an unforgettable event for all participants. This significant occasion allows us to look back on the incredible year-long journey we've undertaken in this course, reflecting on the achievements and challenges that have accompanied us along the way.
This year's session was particularly memorable, filled with vibrant interactions, meaningful exchanges of ideas, and profound reflections. The students of the 20th generation of SIM showed exceptional engagement and dedication, becoming true co-creators of this course. They actively participated in all activities, contributing significantly to the core component of the SIM curriculum.
Key initiatives this year included:
- Insight Cambodia: A project aimed at improving education and living conditions in Cambodia.
- PureDrops: An initiative focused on providing access to clean drinking water in remote regions.
- SIMrise: A project aimed at supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and the development of startups.
- SIMocean: An initiative dedicated to protecting marine ecosystems and raising environmental awareness.
- XHUMA - South Africa: A project focused on improving living conditions and education in South Africa.
- SIMcubator Bangladesh and SIMcubator Rwanda: Initiatives aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs in Bangladesh and Rwanda.
Under the guidance of Professor Omid Aschari and other faculty members, including Tomi Laamanen, Sylvia Simoes, Veronica V., Cornelia Minke, Linda Lorz, and Nadine Hoegener, the SIMagination Challenge course became not just an educational experience but a source of inspiration for all participants. Thanks to these instructors, students had the opportunity to not only gain new knowledge but also apply it in practice by developing real projects with significant social impact.
