THE IMPACT OF THE NOOSPHERE ON GLOBAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The central idea of the noosphere is that it represents a newstage in the development of the planet, where human intelligence and knowledgeplay a central role in the management of the biosphere and resources. Withinthis concept, the noosphere becomes a key factor in achieving sustainabledevelopment, where the management of global resources is based on theprinciples of rationality, responsibility and concern for the future ofgenerations. In this context, sustainable development is aimed at meeting the needsof the present without compromising the opportunities of future generations.

Sustainable development is a global goal, which is based onthe 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It defines 17 SustainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs) covering economic, environmental and social aspects. However, as early as 2023, the UN reported a significant lag in achieving thesegoals, which necessitates intensifying efforts in new areas of resourcemanagement. This is where the role of the noosphere becomes extremely relevant,as it considers the human mind as the main driving factor in solving globalproblems such as climate change, poverty and social inequality.

Resourcemanagement within the noosphere requires new approaches that focus onenvironmental conservation, reducing environmental burden and equitabledistribution of resources. For example, urban planning focused on climatechange adaptation involves the implementation of meteorological, climate andwater systems that are integrated into urban infrastructure. Such‘climate-resilient’ planning helps to ensure the safety and comfort ofcitizens, minimise pollution and risks associated with weather-related disasters, and thus contribute to the achievement of Goal 11 - Sustainable Cities andCommunities.

Theprinciples of the noosphere can also transform approaches to circular economy, which seeks to minimise waste and reuse resources. For example, eco-preachersand waste recyclers help to reduce the ecological footprint and foster aculture of responsible consumption that helps to preserve the planet'sresources. In addition, biotechnology, such as the engineering of new materialsand genetic modification, is becoming an important element of sustainabledevelopment, offering new sources of food and energy without harming theenvironment.

Thus, the noosphere not only changes approaches to resourcemanagement, but also contributes to the formation of new social values based onresponsibility and respect for nature. Therefore, the integration of noosphereprinciples into global sustainable development strategies is a prerequisite formaintaining ecological balance and ensuring the well-being of futuregenerations.
