The article examines the digital transformation of universities in the context of the emergence of the knowledge economy. It shows that the digital university is an educational ecosystem that combines online platforms, intelligent analytical tools, personalized educational trajectories, and global interaction. The impact of digitalization on improving the productivity of the educational process, its adaptability to the needs of the labor market, and its ability to reduce imbalances in employment through retraining is substantiated. It has been proven that digital education reduces the average cost of training personnel, increases the return on investment in human capital, and expands access to knowledge. The potential of digital avatars and adaptive systems in personalizing learning is emphasized. International experience, particularly in Switzerland and EU countries, has been summarized, confirming the strategic role of digitalization of education in forming a high-tech knowledge economy
