The article examines the interaction between artificial and natural intelligence in the educational process within higher education institutions, particularly in the context of digital transformation. The author analyzes the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for optimizing the educational process by personalizing learning, automating routine tasks, and creating an adaptive learning environment. A comparative analysis highlights AI’s strengths, such as its ability to process large amounts of data, automate processes, and provide immediate feedback. However, its limitations include a lack of creativity, emotional interaction, and dependence on software. Conversely, human intelligence (HI) provides the ability to critically analyze, be creative, and consider moral and ethical aspects but struggles with processing large volumes of data and personalizing learning in large groups. The article also explores the prospects for further integrating AI into the educational process, emphasizing the importance of developing synergistic environments where AI and HI complement each other to enhance the efficiency and quality of education. The author identifies future directions for higher education, including the creation of innovative forms of communication and learning, the development of autonomous systems, and the introduction of digital avatars for teachers, which could elevate the level of interaction in the educational process.
