This study investigates the impact of artificial intelligence-based chatbots on optimizing the educational process in private higher education institutions. It explores the possibilities of automating routine tasks, such as providing information on class schedules, registering for courses, and answering common queries from students and faculty. The findings indicate that chatbots can significantly reduce the administrative workload, enhance accessibility and interactivity in educational process, and offer personalized learning experiences. A prototype chatbot developed for the Private Higher Educational Institution “European University” is proposed. It has demonstrated effectiveness in engaging with both students and faculty. The study also outlines future prospects for advancing and implementing more sophisticated AI technologies to further improve the quality of education.
